After originally training as a gym instructor Neil Parsley established his own successful personal training business which saw him training a wide range of clients from sedentary people looking to loose weight and improve their health to corporate clients wanting to complete personal challenges as well as aspiring nationally ranked tennis players. Armed with professional qualifications and the physical ability to match them, Neil played professional rugby league for Warrington Rugby League Club. This combination of competing at the elite level as well as working with various sports during his personal training career motivated Neil to work again in elite sport. Neal has now been involved in high performance sport for more than 15 years.
Neil Parsley started out as a Strength & Conditioning coach for the English Institute of Sport. This role saw Neil physically preparing athletes from a variety of Olympic sports such as wrestling, boxing, athletics, netball & swimming as well as travelling with teams to overseas training camps and major competitions. Neil worked as a Strength & Conditioning Coach with the GB Taekwondo team up to the London 2012 Olympics and in 2013 moved into a consultancy role for England Rugby and is currently helping to prepare the team for the Six Nations and Rugby World Cup. In addition to Neil’s work in high performance sport he has managed to successfully establish The Underground Training Station, a dedicated and focused performance centre, as a successful gym franchise with several facilities based in the North West of England.
