14th-16th June 2024 - Secure Your Seat

FFC 2 – THE ART
ROOTED IN SCIENCE, DRIVEN BY CURIOSITY, AND REFINED THROUGH PRACTICE.

Your next step towards coaching mastery.
The Conscious Coach – it’s time to challenge the rules.

The PFCA have developed this course for the coach who senses that there’s more to uncover. FFC 2 will delve beneath the surface of your coaching pillars to explore new levels of understanding and excellence.

FFC 2 will thrust you out of your comfort zone. We’ll take what you currently know and blow it wide open through critical thought and alternative frames of reference. Together we’ll broaden the scope of your coaching lens.

THE CATALYST FOR YOUR COACHING NEEDS

Through the fundamental PFCA principles, FFC 1 provided guide rails for you to safely absorb knowledge and refine the use of your tools in practice.

Our intention for FFC 2 is to bend those rails to create space for you to express yourself more freely – space to explore what’s possible, to establish a depth of understanding, to calibrate your intuition, and ultimately, to find your own voice and style.

Course Overview

From implementing what you learned in FFC1, FFC2 delivers the next challenge on your coaching education pathway.

Now, armed with the tools, systems and experience, you are ready to unlock the next layer of your coaching practice.

Stimulating the conscious coach within you, we’ll investigate the 4 I’s, the 4 E’s, the PFCA OS, and much more in greater detail and from different view points.

The aim of this course is to stretch your brain and thoughts. Now, moving towards conscious competence on the continuum, you have clarity of what you do know, whilst chomping at the bit at what’s to come.

What you need to start

FFC 1 certification.

As a growing and progressive community of professional coaches, we communicate in a shared language; a language learned in FFC 1 and refined in FFC 2.

Inclusive of course, but only through the portal of FFC 1.

Course assessments

FFC 2 is made up of 2 parts:

  • FFC 2.1: Express - Assessment and Program Design
  • FFC 2.2: Nurture - Nutrition and Behaviours

Both elements of the course will start with a live and in person 3 day intensive. The time will be shared between the interactive classroom setting and the practical gym floor setting.

Then, with the 3 day intensive providing you with everything you need, you will have 12 weeks in which to complete 3 full client case studies. Each case study will be specific to the part of the course you’ve recently completed.

Course Qualification

Once you have successfully completed both parts, and your case studies have been marked and passed, you will be awarded the FFC Level 2 Certificate.

You will be given a holding certificate on completion of each part in isolation, prior to achieving the whole.

The FFC 2 Certificate will be the mark of the Conscious Coach - competent, focussed, elegant and unique.

FFC 2 implies a level of excellence achieved by only a few.

The FFC 2 coach is on their way to mastery, paving their own path from here on out.

Jenz’s proven interpersonal skills make the complex simple, applicable and fulfilling for the coach and client.

His personal approach to education and development has led him to adopt a white-belt mentality. This hunger for improvement is just one of the reasons why the PFCA remains at the forefront of applied functional fitness training today.

Craig Massey

Craigs entry into the industry was via the early UK CF scene in the mid to late 00’s. At this point, still an engineer by trade, Craig managed to visualise what a career shift and subsequent starting point in the vocation that really always had his heart and mind would look like.

A leap of faith, many years, 3 gyms and one bespoke coaching practice later, here he stands today. Underpinned by 10 years within the OPEX system as both long term student and then OPEX license holder, Craigs values and beliefs are very much education-centric – whether coach or client, we’re all here to learn, and we’ll all never know it all.

Craig believes that with knowledge comes great responsibility; the responsibility to do something worthy with it. Today, grateful to be a part of the PFCA, I am provided with an opportunity to do just that – to contribute – to aim to be of use to those coming after me.
